The vinyl record appreciation event featuring the cello playing traditional folk music under the theme of "When West Meets East" transformed the venue into a "concert hall," where audiences indulged themselves in the beautiful evening amidst melodious tunes.
Located in Xujiahui Library, the 2M Art & Music Space, jointly created by the Library and JIAOJI ,a vinyl record Sharing platform, and imbued with vinyl art and culture, has always aspired to offer readers a multidimensional experience of reading. Reading and music have always been able to nourish the soul.
The cello exhibited at the scene of this event is the one used by the young cellist Zhu Lin when she was practicing hard in her childhood. She is also the cellist of the concerto of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” composed by Tan Dun. Afterwards, she autographed and donated it to the Jiaoji for collection.
